Drink a variety of fluids. Don’t just drink water. Include apple juice, grape/white grape juice, fruit nectars, clear soups, sodas, Gatorade, energy bursts, popsicles and jellies, etc. Soups contain salt (sodium), juices can provide Potassium, other beverages and watery foods provide calories.
What candies help with chemotherapy?
Many patients find that sour candies, pickles, and sour foods such as lemons or limes may help fight nausea. Keep some sour candies with you and keep some lemon slices in your water bottle to keep nausea at bay even when you’re on the go.

Delayed nausea and vomiting usually occurs 24 hours or more after chemotherapy time will start. It can last for several days.
